DTT/TNT/TV Sites in Ivory Coast
The Digital Terrestrial Television project began in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) with a Tender for a Pilot site in 2015. The challenge was to build / renew and install the 35 DTT sites in Côte d’Ivoire as quickly as possible,including the main broadcasting site with a 208m tower and a brand new technical building / NOC.
STA / LEADCOM partnered with renowned companies AUCOM (South African DTT integrator) and GatesAir (Manufacturer of transmitters – USA) to offer a solution adapted to the country and to the customer’s requirements, and above all to offer an international quality of service within very short imposed deadlines. Despite a complicated global economic environment, this project is a real success. It offers to the Ivorians 7 free channels in high definition, as well as the possibility of benefiting from additional services with high added value in the future. This experience is a significant reference for LEADCOM. It involves the integration of multiple areas of expertise such as civil engineering, electricity and energy optimization, the construction of access roads to sites, and of course, our core business, the delivery of a fully integrated and optimized network.
