Tower Maintenance SOW
- Bi-annual and annual tower structure and foundation preventive maintenance
- Aircraft warning light maintenance
- Lightning arrestor maintenance
- Earth resistance and grounding measurement
- Guy wire tension checking
- Tower structure and foundation corrective maintenance when required
- Tower structure and foundation emergency maintenance when required
Status of towers before
- Bent members, missing members, rusted members
- Missing bolts & nuts, loose bolts & nuts, rusted bolts & nuts, incorrect bolts & nuts
- Grouting under tower base plate in bad condition, missing grouting under tower base plate, soil erosion around tower foundation
- Cracks on tower foundation column, no water drainage in the grouting for tubular towers
- Tower verticality deviation out of tolerance, rusted antenna brackets, incorrect antenna brackets
- Tower paint in bad condition, loose guy cables
Status of towers After
- Bent members – replaced, missing members – installed, rusted members – replaced
- Missing bolts & nuts – installed, loose bolts & nuts – tightened, rusted bolts & nuts – replaced, incorrect bolts & nuts – replaced
- Grouting under tower base plate in bad condition – removed and replaced, missing grouting under tower base plate – new grouting applied, soil erosion around tower foundation – restored
- Cracks on tower foundation column – rectified, no water drainage into the grouting for tubular towers – new drainage installed
- Tower verticality deviation out of tolerance – rectified, rusted antenna brackets – replaced, incorrect antenna brackets – replaced
- Tower paint in bad condition – repainted, loose guy cables – tensioned.
